Yeah, it can be frustrating sometimes when you're stuck waiting for a "real" match, especially if the other team is actually a "real" team. Especially since servers want to keep friends together, so they don't scramble teams very often... This usually results in a chain reaction of people on the losing team leaving to join other servers looking for a "real" match. If you try to stick to playing during a server's "busy" time (by timezone), you will find better matches. Try to think of who gets on when, and why. If, for example, you are playing on a Euro server and the time tells you that the people closest to that server are mostly still at work or school, then it could be unpredictable. I get less bad matches than most because I stick to mid-later evening HOG and FCV (both for ping). I try to avoid playing in the late afternoon or early evening, since there are too many people home from school and just lots of idiots in general mucking about for the half a round that they play each day xD.

But aside from that, i'd have to say that you shouldn't encounter the problems you listed very often. The parties in main would be the only one that makes a semi-regular appearance, but it is almost always at the end of an already lost round, and therefore negligible.

Bottom line for anybody: report improper play to admins (that means against server rules, not your rules for how you think the game should be played). Set a good example that encourages teamplay and not just socialization (too many people use pr as a chatroom that just happens to have a game attached). Learn how to actually play pr so you can start squadleading when needed (thus avoiding lack of leadership damaging team cohesion aka the rage quits and the 12 unassigned guys on your team). And lastly remember that how people talk or what they talk about isn't your concern unless it violates server rules (so forget mic spam).

The problem with the PR community is that most people play video games to take a break from their responsibilities and let off steam, but a good match of PR requires both responsible leaders (of which there are few) and responsible followers (of which there is even fewer). And they can't just be there either, they have to apply focus and drive, and they must work in concert with other squads too. That's a lot to swallow for people just looking to kill an hour or two before work. No matter where you go in life, you will struggle to find people who are truly serious. Sadly, our beloved PR is under constant assault from people who are not looking for friendly competition or a challenge, they just want a timesink for when they've finished catching up on social media or the latest news.
