Also note this village has about 60-70% of its basic modelisation completed. There are 2 small other chunks of habitations that are yet to be implemented. |

Any chance to get a sneak-peak? The download link wasn't working, at least for me. Seeing this map is 1km x 1km, I am wondering what's the performance with full server.
Looks awesome though! Does taliban really get a little bird? |

Also, I want to keep all the cool stuff hidden for when the map will be finished and ready to test. This way you all get the chance to explore a completely unknown landscape ^^ About performance, This map is still a little baby, not ready for the performance test. Just look at this example, In this little stack of small houses, You imagine it will not be performance heavy. That is until you see every wall and roof have their own Cull. This is a problem for now but in a certain future I, or a dedicated community member, will merge all these different static, or even better, make a whole new 3d model optimized for the map. And for little bird, the dev's have the last words on asset. Yet I will defend this feature to keep it in the map. Why would'nt taliban be able to afford 1 or 2 small chopper? Let's say the Lil' bird have a 20min respawn. or even no respawn. In a rough landscape like I have in my map, I believe it could be realistic that these arab invest in Air support to carry their food or weaponry through steep mountains. |

This way when u get ur pilot kit, no one can steal ur birdy! Otherwise im not very aware of the coding required.. Probably someone will help me at this stage |
