[GIS+] and [NEW]: C'n'C Event 20/02/11

Following the success of several community-events we will start another event in close collaboration with New Era Warfare [NEW] on our high performance server located in Germany. You are invited to join the [NEW] or [GIS+] troops to fight for your life.

C'n'C Game Mode Informations

There are no capturable CPs. Both teams can place a single forward outpost (FO). The objective is to defend the team's FO while trying to find and destroy the enemy FO.
When a team loses their FO they will suffer a huge ticket penalty and continue to lose tickets until they can build a new one. Building the FO closer to the map's center increases the ticket loss that the enemy will suffer while his FO is down.
The FO must be placed at least 200m from the map's borders. Both teams can build more defenses near their outpost than in other game modes:
-2 TOWs
-2 AAs
-4 HMGs
-6 Razor wires
-6 Foxholes
-2 Mortars

2. Yamalia Russia/Canada (CnC)

This event will feature and promote PRMumble. Password will be released in the NEW New Era Warfare (Europe) Channel on the official PRMumble Server.

We will have a lot of people from various clans and communities on both sides ensuring a coordinated game. You should have no trouble joining a squad and of course you are free to lead your own one.

Reflecting on the previous events and the tremendous amount of valuable feedback you provided us with, this event's policy will be extended by some additions in order to augment our guest?s experience:

1. Password protected server, Password will be released on PRMumble.

2. Joining on PRMumble is indispensable.

3. Experienced NEW/GIS commanders for both parties if otherwise positions would remain vacant.

4. One NEW/GIS squads on each side and continuous efforts in balancing the manpower.

CnC = PR should be, seriously most demanding and TW promoting game-mode. Not very appropriate for pubbies tho.

I have only been able to play CnC twice, the second time we only had 17ish people on each side. I hope this event will get a lot more people! A quick question, how many English speakers will be present, the last time I joined a squad and that talked to each other exclusively in German, and it was kind of annoying for the Squad and me to ask for a repeat of any warning/contacts everything in English.
