Decreased accuracy with other teams weapons?
This suggestion is from an idea brought up from the dissapearing limited kits (which is unrealistic) but the idea of decreased accuracy is certainly a realistic possibility (with ALL enemy weapons).
I'm not so towards or against the idea, but if it makes the mod more realistic; why not? Is it possible to decrease the accuracy somehow or is it HC? |

I doubt it could be changed and I don't think that if Abdul picked up Nigel's rifle he would be any less accurate.

Bad idea. Reloading might be slower because of unfamiliarity with the weapon but basic marksmanship is universal

I think it's a good idea. There is no way that you will be able to pick up an ak47, which you have never even touched, and shoot as accurately/aim as fast/etc than you would with an m16 that you have fired thousands and thousands of times.
And the difference would be even greater if we are talking about using limited kits, do you think that if some mec soldier will pick up a us sniper rifle he will be able to fire it as accurately as someone who has trained to use that rifle for like half of his life. (same goes for at and grenadier) |

It obviously depends on the kit and soldier. A special forces soldier is most likely trained to use a wide variety of OPFOR weaponry, even SVDs and PPSh's.
An insurgent however would probably have a bit more trouble using the leaf sight on a UGL or the scope configuration on an L115A1. Leave it as it is. If you're a good player you'll be able to use the weapon well, if not.... meh. |
