AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE WE DID A LITTLE CHECK OVER OF EVERYTHING. OUT OF SHEER HORSE DUNG LUCK WE DISCOVERED A PUNKBUSTER ERROR.

Centurion 2:
What's Punkbuster?

Centurion 1:
AFTER SEVERAL HOURS OF PANIC, WE FIGURED OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. WE WERE TRYING TO IMPROVE SOME ASPECTS OF THE NAMETAG SYSTEM IN BATTLEFIELD 2. AND PUNKBUSTER DIDN'T LIKE WHAT WE WERE DOING.

Centurion 2:
What's Battlefield 2? Is that like the Norman Conquests?

Centurion 1:
WE HAD DISABLED PUNKBUSTER DURING BETA TESTING BECAUSE IT WAS CAUSING AN ANNOYING ERROR WE DISMISSED AS A CONFIGURATION PROBLEM. AT THE LAST MINUTE WE WERE TRYING SOME OTHER TESTS AND DISCOVERED THE PUNKBUSTER ERROR AND REMEMBERED WE HAD FORGOT TO TURN THAT BACK ON IN BETA.

Centurion 2:
You know He doesn't like the word "Beta". Or anything Greek for that matter.

Centurion 1:
TURNS OUT IT WAS ONE LINE INSIDE ONE FILE. AND THAT FILE IS ON THE CLIENT SIDE. WHICH MEANS I HAVE TO UPLOAD THE DAMN THING ALL OVER AGAIN. THAT'S GOING TO TAKE HOURS TO UPLOAD 1.7GB.

Centurion 2:
Oh, bugger. Well why don't you get the upload started, then let's go get some wenches?

just be glad it looks like a minor fix. and be glad it was caught now and not after you spent a few hours downloading to load up and CTD going WTF!
