PR Lags at random times, BF2 does not at all.

As the title of this thread says...

PR used to work fine for me, recently I updated to a 780i motherboard and got another 9800 GX2 for quad sli. But now PR lags at random times. It will just stop at 1 spot for like 20 seconds then resume, and i die lol.

I know its not a SLI issue because it still does it even if I turn SLI off. So im not sure what the problem is.

If anyone has any ideas please help.

Are you running a 32 bit or a 64 bit OS ?

Put all your game settings on medium and low res and see how it goes

I uninstalled Vista and degraded to XP, then I made a seperate 4GB partition and used it solely for the pagefile. Defrag it a couple of times when it starts stuttering, and it's like magic.
