Yoyo Ping
Hi all, I'm having a problem with my ping. It's up and down like a yoyo. If I click on the team screen where you can see your ping reading I can watch it going up and down between 77-800. I have just signed up to BT internet (UK) and it was running fine and this problem has only started in the past few days. I'm no computer guru so wouldn't have a clue where I am supposed to look or what to do. Can anyone help.

Have you tried resetting your router? Checked cables etc.
Also go to Pingtest.net - The Global Broadband Quality Test, run this a few times and see what the results are. I suspect the problem is with BT, it normally is even though they won't admit it. Had any heavy rain recently? Is you phone line into the house underground or from an overhead pole? |

You actually have a jitter problem not a ping problem,
