single fire vs auto firing single shot accuracy
so I asked this in another thread but it got locked and never answered. If you are firing in full auto mode but firing a single shot at a time, is there any accuracy difference vs firing in semi auto? I dont see why there would be and havnt really noticed a difference in game but I havnt really done any empiracle testing.

My bad sorry mate >.<
Yeah there is a difference. Youll be more accurate with Single Fire at long ranges. Althought Auto mode helps on Urban maps - for clearing out rooms and stuff |

He's not asking for a change from single to auto. What he's asking is a legitimate question.
He wants to know if there are different bullet deviation values between firing 1 round in single shot mode, and firing 1 round in automatic mode. I seem to notice a difference, but that could just be my imagination. Obviously automatic fire is "less accurate" but that's not what hes asking. he just wants to know if the game makes a distinction between 1 round from auto and 1 round from single. |

It's the same. Bullet goes where the gun points it, for near enough all weapons. Just that recoil in full auto makes it go other places. ie: Team mate.

I dunno.. it feels pretty different to me and I've been actually meaning to ask the same question. Can any of the devs confirm this?

From my experience it doesn't stray far in auto (single round) from semi.
sometimes i do that on ak at medium to close ranges. |

To answer that :
he answer to this age old question has perplexed people for eons. Part of the reason the question is so difficult to answer is that the amount of wood that woodchucks would chuck on a given day varies greatly with the seasons and with the metabolisms of any individual woodchuck. Modern internet technology has advanced to the point that we can reliably monitor the amount a woodchuck chucks in real time. The results of this monitoring are shown below. Please note that the numbers vary due to the dispositions of the woodchucks involved. Attention: Woodchucks don't chuck unless you use Microsoft Internet Explorer as your browser.... Netscape scares them. Average amount of wood a woodchuck would chuck in a given day 881 butt cords of wood. Median amount of wood a woodchuck could chuck in a given hour 267 butt cords of wood. Hope that answers your question ? |

There is a difference. I have noticed it.
