Need help installing 8.6

I had removed 8.5 a while back.
Do I need to reinstall 8.5 core/level pack before I install 8.6 patch/core/levels?

Either you re-install .85 (probably best if you still have the files) and then run the .86 patcher, or you install the .86 core/level pack.
