but on a map with something like an a-10 or attack helo your gonna be handicapping the inf if you dont give them a stinger but if you do give them a stinger your handicapping the transport helos this is another instance about where to draw the line with realism while not killing gameplay

Helicopter insertions work because of:
Good Pilots Secure Landing Zones Poorly Equipped Enemy and a good bunch of insertions work with FAST ROPING which is the one thing im most pissed off that bf2 wont have, and that i most desperatley want it in this mod. roping allows you to land wher your wouldnt normally be able to land. This is a very large advantage, when the troops are landing on the building the bad guys are in, instead of having to run through the streets and charge in. (or...soemthing like that) Now, heli insertions don;t work when you dont have the above things. BHD is an excellent example. We didnt expect them to have rpgs, or that well of aim. They did. Thus, we lost the poorly equipped enemy and the secure landing zone... |
