Re: FOB Spawn-Campers
How about making fobs defendable for people that spawn in then?
Something like .. you could have a little nest of mannable MGs around it, or when you spawn in, you spawn on a MG and can move like a humvee gunner on the top of the fob?! I think that'd be pretty sick |

Re: FOB Spawn-Campers
I don't see the what the big issue is. If spawn is camped you communicate this problem to your team and work around it.
I don't care for kills, but if I can disable whole squad or more, simply by sitting next to a FOB, I would sit there until I get friendly specialist to come over, even if it takes the whole round. Non-issue made into an issue. Other thing to notice is that unless its a solo guy the FOB gets overrun, if you really don't want to spawn elsewhere just spawn with enough force. Ofc, this doesn't help if the FOB is in completely stupid place and on the open. Build them in rubble or other visual blockade that you can use for cover as you spawn. |

Re: FOB Spawn-Campers
Raic - the problem at the moment is that spawncamping has become very common.. people can't take the fobs out so they decide to camp it. For anyone that doesn't like spawncamping.. it just became a big issue. Not every team communicates as you'd like them to.

Re: FOB Spawn-Campers
how about when a soldier dies close to a FOB that FOB gets marked as hot by changing its icon color to red or placing a additional marker close to it?
That should make camping mighty ineffective |

I don't understand why people seem to require this immense amount of hand holding, as if the game is better the more gameplay is limited. PR has always been best played in organized groups and I would hate to see that changed simply because some people require tight boundaries and directing on how to play.

@Raic: often enough you dont know that this FOB is camped. People spawn there, die, rage, spawn again, die, spawn somewhere else without telling anyone else. The camper is easy to take out when your team is communicating. Sadly you cant always demand communication.
