Burning Sands MEC Defensive play Strategy
Image test
Doing the math. 3 ATGM TOW, 6 AA, 12 HMG, that is 21 men. 2-4 tanks, 2-4 APCs, with a mix of anti-air vehicle, up to 16-18 men MAX. Plus 2-4 for CAS. Total of 39-43 men on any asset MAX. Leaving 11-7 men left over for HAT/AA kit/Sniper kit/Marksmen/Spotter/Combat engineer, doubling their double as an ammo runner. Every man on a super FOB asset has a primary rifleman kit they cycle then either a officer, spotter kit or LAT. Combat engineer places 30 mines in anti tank belt outside the friendly tanks working area of the rear, then hands it off to a guy on HMG to place his own anti-tank belt. If 50 players place 30 mines each over a long delayed stalemate that is 1500 mines. Even just 20 guys is 600 mines. Dig anything that gets damaged immediately. Example for ATGM TOW placement. 2 TOW can go west side(doesn't matter which side) on a rear FOB using frontal FOB as visual bait enemy sees and checks first. 2 TOWs west side, 1 TOW east supported by another FOB with a HAT kit. This way each side east and west has 2 separate position anti-tank capabilities. AA kit goes to frontal FOBs due to less range than AA emplacements, doubles security against CAS attacks. Our CAS lingers in the rear circling at 1000 and 2000 for each jet looking for incoming CAS attacks and awaiting laze guides from high enough altitudes to hit the target without going into potential enemy AA zones This video is cut from "Combined Arms Breach" from VBS 2 and shows how to defeat this formidable full team 50 man 6 super FOB defensive strategy. It is what I based many of my tactics on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2-BFJEO-EU&t=371s |
