Default Head tracking with Opentrack

Hello everyone, I've been doing a game reverse here to implement head tracking and I have some results.

Demo

How to use

Yes, shooting this way looks miserable, but maybe someone will have suggestions on what can be done about it.

Is it possible to toggle tracking on and off with option to centre camera position? This should be usefull for aiming as long it will not mess up some sync or position issues.

Opentrack options has hotkeys to return view direction to center, I use "Zero while held" for aiming but it didn't make it into the video.

Can you use controller axies as input?

Imagine use the right stick on a controller for the head movement.

And the rest of the controlls like so: pitch on the left stick, throttle on the triggers, and rudder on the bumpers.
That way, you could control the plane and look around using just the controller.

In Opentrack, you can select a joystick as an input device and set the axes to Pitch and Yaw for gaze direction. I think it should work, but I don't have such a joystick to test.
