Default 3D Scanning at Home! (cheap)

So, I was watching a tech show called The Lab With Leo Laporte today and one the show there was a guy that was doing a segment on 3D scanning, It's called David 3D Scanner and all you need is a Webcam, laser line thingy, and white boards in the background and you scan the laser over the object and it comes up in the software that is free from the site.

I figured it was a cool thing and i thought i'd share it with you guys.
P.S. i might not have explained very well so just check the site.
