People don't realize that autism doesn't mean they're "stupid". Just socially inept. Like rhino... > > or in a worst case scenario... Wicca. =)- Lithium fox I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh."Going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordion. All you do is leave behind a lot of noisy baggage."

If you don't get assigned to GSV, just make a phone call to VPV and ask to go up there. Worked a treat for me! | |

Re: [Vehicle] IVECO LMV [WIP]
I figured i should let you guys know:
The Ivecos are getting the Protector Lite 1 system similar to the Crows system. I was at Rena for the demonstration of it (pretty impressive) and will be put on almost all of the Ivecos if i have understood it correctly But for now they have only bought 10 of them as a testing platform for use in Afghanistan (They have been approved for use Seeing as PR are soppused to be slightly in future they should be implemented, but thats just my oppinion, seeing as they got the Ivecos for troop safety No more use for the guy in the hatch, he can now sit inside using a screen (Source: I was at Rena at the demostration, and i believe they will get the story out in the next "Forsvars Forum") Oh, and by the way; The screen was in the back seat, right side ( if someone decided to implement it) |

Re: [Vehicle] IVECO LMV [WIP]
It's called M201F3 or something. Saw an article about it somewhere. Currently used by the OMLT (google/wikipedia it) and not by regular army. Since Norway doesn't have a wheel mobile battalion/company yet, it is a INTOPS phenomenon. 2. Battalion is under transformation, but will be using SISU xa-203 while it is decided upon what type of vehicle that is to replace the IVECO.
------ Found it! http://www.mil.no/felles/fms/start/a...ticleID=172128 ----- My bad, the NM201F3 is a Norwegian modification of the good old M113. Anyway, the Protector system is sweet, and is supposedly to be used on the upcoming new batch of CV90s as well. |
