M16 IS more accurate then the M4 due to the longer barrel. However, M4 is better fitted for CQB.

the m16 has no problem its easiest to use than all other rifles in PR. look at the G3 when you fire a shot recoil sends the rifle into the air.

Sometimes the M16A4 and M4 seem less accurate than they should be, perhaps it is the deviation or some other thing. Yet I can't count the number of times I have seen a guy at a relatively close (<50m) range, stopped, pulled up the sights, wait a second or two, and "fire, fire, fire, miss, miss, miss, die".

I have had more luck with the QBZ-95 for some reason.

Personally I think most of the assault rifles firing intermediate caliber ammunition, particularity the M16A4 and M4, need less recoil. To me it seems much easier to control a short burst from an AR15 in real life than in game.

all rifles have same deviation IIRC, yet ive only seen complaints about ar-15 series?

agreed I can also hit a can 50 meters away no prob I think the wait period in the game is messed up but with stopping power remember the m16/m4 is 556 and it will take more than 1 shot for a guy to go down (in Iraq and Stan there are reports of insurgents taking hits and not dropping, they keep running toward you read Jason Dunhan's story, a Cpl in his fire team shot an insurgent 28 times with the M16 556 before he went down, there are reports of insurgents so high on drugs that they dont die after head shots also, this is something you can google) compared to the g3 which is 762...but yes the m16 should have less of a sight in time...If I were you request this to be put in the suggestion section or put it there yourself so the devs who make changes to the game can see!
