So did you completely remove your audio drivers and installed them again?

Remove the drivers and all the software related to them manually. If you can't get a download for new drivers just let Windows update them for you. But remove them completely!

EDIT: now the cracking its barely there, but it wasn't there until after i started PR, it may be related to my headphones.

Start/right click my computer/properties/advanced system settings/hardware/device installation settings/....... choose no and never install drivers. I think if you actually completely remove all the drivers + any related software and then install it again it should work.

This error is random at best.
is it related to something called "Audio latency"? |

Thanks godness, for the record, i think i finally fixed this problem/reduced it as much as possible without having to reinstall windows/the game/the mod.
Go to sound properties, go to properties of your used sound device. Manage the last/last 2 tabs and configurate them to add the biggest possible frequency and sound quality possible for your systems, i dont know if the increase of quality is required, but that fixed it for me. (remember to un-check the option of giving priority to the running program, just to be sure) EDIT: talked too son....... cracking is back for some reason. EDIT 2: strange, just started it up again without changing nothing and it got fixed, sadly i think its a full random problem (or the problem is with my headphones) |
