BASICALLY WHAT YOU DO IS SIT IN THE F7 OR F6 SEAT AS A SPEC OP AND get the pilot to hover then press e so you stand inside the chopper get your grappling hook out and throw it out the back or side and just climb down. takes practice though :P and it can only be done in merlin.
sry bout the caps couldnt be bothered to change it. @ecko that would make it go much faster and make it useful. |

Epic! But indeed worthless. Please don't implement F4ztr0p3s into PR so I can continue to nag the DEVS about it.

It's been known for yonks that you could sling a rope up to/out of a helicopter like that; it's just not "fastroping" as people want it - which is for it to be quick, efficient and a better alternative than landing
Given that choppers blades can't hit anything, it's still quicker and safer to land lol. I can see servers over the next few days filling with people trying this... *shudder*. |

Surely a chopper would only be used when the area is clear, then they can only land if the ground is level.
Both of these criteria must be met in PR, currently. This allows a way out onto uneven ground while the pilot hovers quite high so as not to hit anything in an area both clear of hostile forces and too uneven to land. Seems like a pretty realistic method to me. |

On OGT/any map with trees, this allows troops to be deployed via helicopter into somewhere a chopper could not normally land.
