The black plate around headlights will be textured. Its difficult to see the final result yet. Lets try something funny. :P Mad paint skillz! As we can see model is right size but we must texture the plate exactly as in picture (not the paint picture ). Those bars at front of the lights must be shorted though. | |

Re: [Vehicle] Land Rover Defender [WIP](FDF)
I don't want to say it but is there a need for it? The game already has three land rover variants, one of which can carry 8 people and i was under the impression that land rovers were being extensively replaced in the British army by vehicles that didn't get turned into metal coffins when hit by an ied, such as the mastiff and husky.

This particular model is for the FDF community faction.

Re: [Vehicle] Land Rover Defender [WIP](FDF)
The defender body has never really changed as its cheaper to produce them that way. The plastic plate around the headlight is almost square however on your model it is more rectangular. This is due to the fact that the front of the wing on your model runs in-line with the rest of the vehicle body however in reality it sits slightly higher and this is making the front of the vehicle look too stretched.
How your model looks: How a Defender looks: Antol.PL's picture is a very good reference as also the rear of the Defender body slopes towards the rear lights. |

These might help you abit more kovanaama.
Strima is right you do need to work on the front end it is shorter than your model shows. The particular land rover your doing is the older TD5, like this one below. The only diffrence being the puma bonnet on the later 2006 models (the first picture) |
