No offense to the french just a good laugh."Going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordion. All you do is leave behind a lot of noisy baggage."

Got to say the Norwegians look very professional, especially the Telemark Battalion.
The CV90 is a really good looking vehicle too, whats its effectiveness like in Afghanistan? Looks like its gun is going to rape in PR. |

Re: [Movie] Norwegian Armed Forces movie thread
That trønder bloke with the beard in the start there, Emil the squad leader, held a brief for us during my conscript year. Nice guy, answered a lot of questions I had. It's a small world indeed!
When they're shooting into the treeline - that's some good effect on target! Looks like TMBN has got hold of ACOGs for their twelve-sevens (M2 Browning). Nice! |

Are most soldiers in Norway bilingual, what is the English education like over there? I heard in Sweden that English is a compulsory language for students. | |

Re: [Movie] Norwegian Armed Forces movie thread
In norway, all pupils have english and norwegian, and then some choose either french, german or spanish... although they don't learn that as well as english.
