Sorry, but where did you get the idea that US Airborne troops had Mohawk hair cuts?

yes, I think that the 101st should have normal haircut and classic facepaint (similar to modern USMC Tropical facepaint but black)

It's 101st (as in, One Hundred and First), not 101th (as in, One Hundred and Oneth)
