Re: Improved Close Support Bridges #2
not true IMO, both things will happen now I think. More map-bridges being destroyed, and more CSB's being placed. Cause now with this, you don't need to think ahead when going towards a destroyed bridge. 70% of the time if you are in a convoy with the plan of building a fob you can now quickly place them and go over them. No need now to find another route or wait for multiple trips of the logitruck or the fear of seeing it destroyed in some physics-black hole. For example jabal. If US has captured jabal and the bridge is destroyed, usually the MEC team gives up and just tries to defend the last flag. No more need for this. With a solid push, the bridge can now be quickly be replaced with the CSB's and an assault to recapture the city is possible. I can only see it becoming more used with 1.0 |

Re: Improved Close Support Bridges #2
the only problem i had was having one bridge ..
for example the main bridge on South of Albasrah is very hard to go there and if you did it without trouble you need to do it again to fix the bridge completely. |

Re: Improved Close Support Bridges #2
A bridge too far >.< Very well done i Enjoy the V in the center that was one main reason i never deployed bridges is because even if it was established ..... you would still fail with the crossing

Re: Improved Close Support Bridges #2
then explain to me for what you need time. example: bridge on shija valley.
1: you see bridge is destroyed 2: you go closer to the gap 3: place csb 4: move over where is that not the fastest then moving around or finding other ways? Same goes for all gamemodes on all maps. The thing that was holding it back was it only carried one and that nobody dared using it at the risk of losing a logistics truck. |

Re: Improved Close Support Bridges #2
I think the biggest user friendly change is going to be the deploying out the front. Will make it much easier for one man to safely create a bridge without the need for a spotter to guide them back with the reverse.
Hoping it'll add to the flexibility of a team to create or reopen avenues of attack |

Re: Improved Close Support Bridges #2
Thought, you knew that this "sliding-bug" is because of "materials"..
Damn, I wanted to suggest you to change the mats of CSB to solve this problem, long time ago, but felt shy to tell so obvious thing.. Glad, you solved this problem by yourself. |

Re: Improved Close Support Bridges #2
Ah, 2 bridges in one truck and deployable from the front, much needed changes. I'll surely try to get them going more often.
