Re: GPU Needed
Have a look at these charts.
PassMark Software - Video Card (GPU) Benchmark Charts PassMark - Video Card Performance Comparison I find this source more reliable. |

Re: GPU Needed
Yeah that site looks handy. Not sure where the differences come from in ratings from site-to-site though. Dare say it's pretty legit though. The direct comparison jobby is useful.
Anyway got a GTX 680 lined up now - looks like it'll do the job OK. Just need to figure a reasonable price for it. About £100 inc. water block I'm thinking. |

Re: GPU Needed
I dont think so. Its still holding the price, you might find one cheaper but WB is going to cost you additional 50+ quids. Patient bear...
Take a look at this specific chart. PassMark Videocard Value Chart - Performance / Price of Videocards Its name is value for the money Ever thought of that or to be more specific...ever thought of abandoning the watercooling policy? See the top ten on that chart. I have HD6950 2GB Twin Frozr. Those are dirt cheap now. Or again GTX950. Or even HD7870 which is better than 6950....and WBs below https://shop.ekwb.com/water-blocks/v...hd-7xx0-series You can get those on overclockers.co.uk probably. If you buy on the site above it ships from Slovenia. |
