Why does this thing look exactly like the French 'Dauphin' chopper that the U.S. Coast Guard uses?

I guess China has a reputation of copying things, so this makes sense...

Because it is. It's a license-manufactured copy of the Dauphin / Panther. WZ-9s form the bulk of China's attack helicopter force, with some WZ-11s (armed, license-build AS 350 "Squirrel" helicopters) and a small squadron of Gazelles forming the rest of it. They have yet to field a dedicated attack helo, but they're working on the WZ-10, which is depicted in-game.
