Re: [reskin]Boeing CH-47F Chinook
that picture proves the point monkey
http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/5025/chinook.jpg http://www.militaryaircraft.de/pictu...u_0701_800.jpg look at the text, texture has it pretty much solid black, in as if the paint has magic dirt repellent in it, look at the lynx, blackhawk or the RAF icon on the chinook, none of them have a solid color. |

Re: [reskin]Boeing CH-47F Chinook
I agree, the text should be a bit grayer, its got a bit too much pop right now.
Otherwise, I like the texture, looks really close to the ref |

Re: [reskin]Boeing CH-47F Chinook
Just drop the Opacity to about 75-80 ish. Should look good then.
Great re-texture |

Re: [reskin]Boeing CH-47F Chinook
This Chinook model doesn't have the Dutch Chinook nose. Is that possible to change? Also, you are talking about the CH-47F model, but you've made a green skin, like the CH-47D models...
The CH-47F will be gray. |

Try asking who made it for the .psd files, then you can change things in a more easier/coherent way...

Re: [reskin]Boeing CH-47F Chinook
NO dutch Chinooks are gray atm, There where planes to paint them like the grey cougar. But from what I have understand that will take ages and might not even happen ad all. as long as I didn't see any gray Chinooks I wont texture them.
About the text, yes I will change it. remember the dutch Chinooks are painted over with allot of different colors of green. But I tryed to keep them as clean as possible. Thanks for the nice comments and tips. It will be fixed. Jasper |

Re: [reskin]Boeing CH-47F Chinook
Well... Let me spell it out for you:
The Dutch CH-47F's are G-R-E-Y. Just like the Cougar. I don't think you've ever seen the Dutch CH-47F. The first one will arrive by the end of this year. The CH-47D's will also be painted grey. Also, the Dutch Chinooks have a different nose and they'll all get different airfilters and FLIR-pods. |

Let me copy past my post then: " As long as I didn't see any gray Chinooks I wont texture them." capice? I don't think you are to very clever, how can i see the Dutch CH-47F as they haven't been fielded? I'm a skinner, I was talking about the skin, not about the small bitchin details you want too have changed in the model. Are they people who might like having something adjustments in the skin? | |
