I didn't get to those settings yet but I most likely will.. or maybe have multiple layouts for weather(night, day or afternoon/day + snowy). those are a low priority though because I want to get the general map done first.

snowy weather will make forest combat interesting, but urban and open combat very awkward.(likewise, clear weather will make forest combat more about the trees instead of taking advantage of the snow, so the combat wouldn't be as unique and would be more of standard PR combat) so there needs to be sort of equalibrium.
Happy to hear that we will getting a layer with good visibility and view distance.

Also looking forward to using the Fennek to sneakily lase for CAS, utilizing the elusive extendable mast with laser designator.

here is ~1.5-2.7
i was planning a video but i kind of messed up the forests and didnt use overgrowth, so i will need to redo them
i will also need to refine a lot of the stuff so actually theres not THAT much done, im still quite new to mapping but hopefully next batch of shots will be better

i was really just experimenting with trenches and next defensive outposts will end up better

edit: forgot screenshots for airfield but will do later

I don't recall seeing any dutch F35s, only F16s.
also there were other F35s like the american ones but they weren't ever implemented because .. i forgot why.

ok i will go get the 2.7 screenshots back in order(fcking imgur) but keep in mind that i learned a lot from vdhiede yesterday and the 2.8 should be looking lots better in terms of general vegetation and enviornment.
aka, i feel like 2.7's forests look like shit

7/8/17-
V2.8
-Major improvements to forests, they should now look snowy instead of fcking vietnam and summer.
-Forests have been changed to use overgrowth instead of indivdually placed objects..
-General winter forest added, general dead forest added.
-Coastline starting at where the russian main has begun, currently traveling along some east side.
-Random villager's house NW of map has been added, may become a lumbermill later on or something
-Terrain improvements NW of map, terrain improvements around russian main.
2.8.1
-Eastern coastline has recieved a bay, most likely going to be the russian 'docks' to help give option of amphibous flanking to make fast progress when transport helicopter/ground travel isn't avaliable then rhibs would be avalible, regardless just a quick update
-Minor starts on russian main, just trying to figure out how much room will be needed

wow, now this is looking awesome!
Can you post a minimap, im curious to see the total top down picture?

maybe its an idea to make the soil color near the shore less nsowy and more rocky?
For example like in this picture, so its not all snow.
