Stationary TOW has massive advantage over tank when you factor in engine noise and hit prediction while bouncing/sliding, with only exception being tank has good intel and knows exactly where TOW is, or TOW placement is in the open with long sightlines.

Right now the only way for a tank to survive a TOW is to angle the armor exactly towards it, if just tiny part of side armor is showing TOW can oneshot tank.

Its maybe not "realistic" but its the only proper way to fix the current issues
This doesn't sound too bad, except I think you are underestimating the power of a well placed smoked up TOW. If tank cannot take it head on, then the only counter would be CAS, area attack or wheeled APC with thermals.

People expect tows to work when building them right in the face of a tank engaging the fob. That should obviously NOT be rewarded. Hittung engine bay, top armor or side armor REALLY isnt that hard.

If you are already being engaged then build the tow on the side of a hill, so that you can engage once the tank drives up for cleanup. If you cant do that then your fob placement sucks. It literally is that simple.

Most FOB placements that feature a TOW are only designed to catch unsuspecting vehicles off guard and thus are located in favourable terrain away from flags to not catch unwanted attention by the infantry. As there is no real force projection towards a capture point, you can usually leave these alone for the time being and focus on the objectives.

It's called an ANTI-TANK emplacement, not a SLIGHTLY-ANNOYING-PAINT-SCRATCHER. You go up against it in a tank while knowing that this thing is designed to get rid of you in the first place, in my opinion you're taking a gamble that's tactically unsound and which 9 times out of 10 you don't even have to as I described above. For the same reason I'm scratching my head when people want AA emps or AA vehicles lazed, why are you all so intend on not learning that you stay away from that and leave it to the infantry to do clean up/diversions first?

RNG of tracking should be reworked.
right now a single AP to the front can track the gun while a back shot or even ATGM to the side wont do it.

change it to smth like: <40% health gun might get tracked by XX% chance
<30% health tracks/wheels might get tracked by XX% chance

everything else is pure RNG bullshit
