Looked a bit on NewEgg and read some reviews. Other than driver issues, this AMD 7950 seems pretty solid. Also seems like the fans are extremely loud at operating speed from what everyone's said on the reviews on the 7950s and 7970s. Quiet card - even at load.I think they become audible at high loads but so do all the cards
it seems they get loud after 40% if you want you can liquid cool your card werent you going to get aliquid cooling kit |

Yeah, but not sure what's a good one to get. I have the Corsair H100 for the CPU.

Re: iBUYPOWER AMD 8-Core Rig
well most of them are about the same try looking at reviews and see which one outputs the least noise
noise should not be your biggest concern since those graphics card can churn out a lot of power |

Re: iBUYPOWER AMD 8-Core Rig
Alright, so everything except the CPUs and GPU have came in, which I'm expecting them to arrive today. So far I've gotten the PSU mounted, the RAM in the mobo, disk drives and data drive installed. I've kind of hit a slump until the CPUs arrive.

Re: iBUYPOWER AMD 8-Core Rig
Okay gentlemen, the computer is completely built. It's 0145 where I live and I'm going to bed. Tomorrows task is to get a desk and start the rig up for the first time. Everyone, thank you for the suggestions and inputs and I hope this computer runs like a dream.
