Where does the operator sit/stand when it's being manned? I can guess it's on the side with the elevation marker thing & the little seat.

Ok, so it's been a while since I've been able to work on it, but I've just started on some of the details on the right side of the 88.

Hi guys.
So I'm working on some of the bigger details, including right now the seat, and as you know I am still fairly new to this :P On the extension to the seat, I am having some issues. I am not sure what to call it (tearing? No idea :P), but I only have 4 faces (the extension is a square/diamond, only 2 are showing atm). Any idea how to stop this issue from happening? Ok, so Ive got all the major stuff done now, and I am going to begin optimizing and finishing up smaller details. Here is a current count of things:
25 Objects total in the model, many of which I am going to combine to other major parts of the model. 2,157 Polys, 4,877 Tris, and 2,466 verts (before optimization) I still have the shield to model and the mounting componants with it, which will add 1-3 objects (most likely all as one).
