A. Otherwise they cant understand each other, Dutch and German are two different languages although they share similarities .
B. Whenoperating in a International environment with multiple nations the primary language is English because allmost everyone speaks it. |

Well, I know you guys speak Dutch, but what I mean is that they can speak English during the exercises of course, but I though it was meant to be shown to the people of both countries, so while the Dutch soldiers were speaking Dutch, there would be German subtitles, and while the German soldier was speaking German, there would be Dutch subtitles.

No it's not actually, I can't judge German people for things some of their grandfathers have done 70 years ago, and neither can most of the dutch.
But AfterDune is right, most of us don't speak german fluently and even fewer germans speak dutch fluently :P But most of the Dutch forces use dutch mixed with english words in combat, the DAF in PR will too |
