UV is totally different now. We indeed kept it out of the main UV and use the already existing texture for the scope now. Would be a waste of space indeed.

This is the most recent version I can find:


I don't have the knowledge of Z-troopers model.

You really need to work on your packing.... Lots of wasted space and then your spacing of the UVs in some cases is non-existent which is going to result in a lot of pixel bleeding.

Roger, I'll let Frede know. So more usage of empty space, and better overall distance between faces to avoid pixel bleeding.

One thing is to put a lot of those cylinder shells inside each other, obviously try to keep the right scale but you end up with one circle holding most of them and it can save a lot of space.

Stuff like the handgrip, you can mirror both sides onto one uv shell, no need to have it unique.

He dropped it on the texturing stage i believe, but no idea if you guys have it in repo.

I cant make new video with RPG29 now, but have this record from test session.

Since that video i have created all 1p and 3p set animations, changed timings for reload to make it slightly slower and some another adjustments.
Texture looks final for me, but still RPG29 has some small model errors and lod issues that need to be fixed before release :P
