Re: [Vehicle] ASLAV / ASLAV-PC
since the bf2 engine has problems with these caches and the eat up polys, i guess they won't make it ingame, just as the got removed form other vehicles again

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth |

Re: [Vehicle] ASLAV / ASLAV-PC
Is there much noticeable difference between the LAV-25 and ASLAV from the outside?
If it isn't drastic the ASLAV could be modified to represent the LAV-25, maybe by another interested modeler with Tonnie's permission. Low priority of course as the vBF2 model isn't that bad, just something to think about. |

Re: [Vehicle] ASLAV / ASLAV-PC
I think they mainly use the AAV for ship to shore operations (Muttrah, Jabal etc.) and LAV-25 for inland operations (Fallujah etc.), that said I've seen pictures of AAVs in Iraq being used as normal APCs but never LAV-25s in the ocean.

Re: [Vehicle] ASLAV / ASLAV-PC
yer that makes sense... Well if when i am done and i get the time i may do a LAV-25 variant but i think the ASLAVs are more important hehe....
