Re: [Vehicle] NH-90 [WIP]
far too many polys in the chairs, and the small details.
And the Chinook was modelled in quads rather than tris Danke, no real difference other than the modelling methods since when the model goes into bf2 all quads get turned into tris anyways. |

Re: [Vehicle] NH-90 [WIP]
@Hangman : of course we would be interested by your NH90. We are developping the Cougar (which will maybe be used by DAF as well), but a new heavy chopper will be much appreciated.
I have taken pics of the NH90 for an another modeler who doesn't work on this model anymore now, if you need them, ask me. As it had been said, your chopper has too many tris to be used now, but there are many ways to reduce the tri count as Rhino said previously quoting the example of the Chinook. |

Re: [Vehicle] NH-90 [WIP]
Be careful with the back door, it's an option that is not used by all factions IRL. You could save tris here.
Some pics I have taken at the "Salon du Bourget" at the NH Industries stand : Pictures by Hauteclocque - Photobucket |

Re: [Vehicle] NH-90 [WIP]
just wondering, why wouldn't they use the door on their helo IRL? or does it depend where its getting deployed? (like...somewhere cold would mean a door would be added?)

Idk, bullet shield? They had more moneys to spend and they decided to get it anyway.

Re: [Vehicle] NH-90 [WIP]
Sorry, my English was not enough clear. I mean the back door doesn't exist for all the versions of this chopper.
