Default Will guns and bullets do realistic damage? Body armor.

Will PR2 sacrifice realism for balance?

Will the bullet damage from different guns be realistic or will the guns be "balanced" to cater to the more casual crowd? For example a machine gun doing less damage than a sniper rifle firing the same round.

For example in Battlefield 4:

M40A5 fires the 7.62x51 NATO - 80 damage

SCAR-H fires the 7.62x51 NATO - 30 damage

M240 B fires the 7.62x51 NATO - 34 damage

MK11 MOD 0 fires the 7.62x51 NATO - 50 damage

G3A3 fires the 7.62x51 NATO - 34 damage

^Totally unrealistic and breaks the immersion.

Also will body armor play a role? I've seen a guy get hit by an (SVD? 7.62x54mm) round center mass, get knocked down, but was OK because the bullet didn't penetrate his armor.

I really hope they'll go for modular damage ala RO2 with fully working body armor.

What does 'fully working body armor' mean? Like we can get knocked to the ground by a 7.62 round at close-ish distance but it won't injure us long-term?

Not necessarily a staggering animation but penetrating and non-penetrating hits would be cool.

As long as it is not based on chance, it would be cool.
