A coalition of Clans

Two U.S. based clans have united, the =DaM= which was recently retired and the [MoH] clan have combined forces.

It was a natural thing to do as the =DaM= clan grew out of the [MOH] years ago.

Our purpose is to form a clans coalition. The =DaM= clan website has been retired and reformed as CoreClans.com.

Here's what we are doing, we are forming a Coalition of for U.S. based clans to have a membership pointing towards cheat free matches among the Coalition members, servers for those smaller clans that perhaps cannot afford a dedicated server and a variety of games. Each Clan who agrees with the rules will be given the ability to admin the servers via their appointed admin.

The [MoH] and =MM= clans will be providing the two BF2 ranked games, vanilla and sf and the =DaM= clan is providing the 8.6 PR game mode. The =DaM= clan is sold out to PR, we shall never leave it. Our servers are available to the clans who decide to join the alliance.

We have a mumble server setup stating with 500 users and each clan who signs on will be given a slot for their clan.

Clans are permitted to recruit provided they do not do it in such a way as to interfere with others who are trying to enjoy a game.

What we are looking for is a way to keep the PR servers populated and provide a really quality game experience as well as good full servers. I personally don't think it can get any better than PR, but the other clans who have signed on still like the ranked games, hey, we all have our faults.

Servers we have

BF2 ranked 2 ea [MOH] and =MM=
BF2 sf ranked 2ea [MOH] and =MM=
MAW mod 1 ea =MM=
Battle racer mod 1ea ( yuck, the =MM= clan sometimes puts AIX on it )
PR 8.6 1ea =DaM=
PR training server, I might get it setup today, I'm trying to get a .net app done first

The cost is free, the server machines have been paid for by Tellup Webhosting and the three starting clans, what we expect to gain here is some enjoyable evenings, we think this is a win win situation for all.

The old damclan.net has been redirected to coreclans.com or go right there for details, we are hoping to have this up and going by the end of the month.
