Default Falklands Trip

I have just returned from the Falklands, it is something truly special. I will post a few pics and vidoes of my time down there.

Check out this BFBS link, this band I was playing with (Salamanca Band of the Rifles) entertaining kids at Port Stanley

Indeed we were the band playing for the ceremony at the Stanley memorial.

Here we are.(please refrain from political discussion)

A video from the British Newspaper "The Daily Telegraph" I am in the Band that was performing at Port Stanley on liberation day.

My falklands photo-albums. Please feel free to have a look through to your hearts are content.
Facebook pictures by falcons1988 - Photobucket

I have done it through photobucket as there is a hefty number of photographs.

Though here are six (one from each sub-album) to wet your appetite.

30th Anniversary Ball at Stanley Town Hall

Darwin-Goose Green, the mountain in the background is where thirty members of the Parachute regiment died of hypothermia prior to the battle

Wetting ones appetite, literally, with a picture of a beautiful cake that tasted as good as it looks

Cold morning in Fox Bay

Penguins coming in out of the sea at volunteer point

Crack of dawn at 38,000ft above the coast of West Africa on the way to Ascension Island

Also here is penguins at volunteer point.

I am currently writing memoirs on my trip to the islands

@Sgt.Ayllon

We are named after the Battle that was fought there in July 1812 against the forces of Napoleon Bonaparte.

Dose the Falklands have a penguin sheering contest, a bit like sheep sheering contests?
