New Recruit looking for a serious-ish clan

Hello there. I am completely new to this game, I watched a couple of tutorials on how to play this mod but im looking for a group of people who are willing to teach a noob on how to play this game. Im currently downloading this on Ubuntu so i don't know if the game can run but if it can, I hope i can get in on the action 'cause this game looks super fun

P.S
Would my current pc be able to run this game (My main one is unavailble right now)
I'm pretty sure I can run it but I'm just curious

Intel Pentinum G620 Dual Core cpu
Ubuntu 14.04
4gb RAM

AFAIK PR and Linux doesn't work, even with Wine.

I've a friend who's tinkered about with getting it working in wine, but it presents some really serious problems. There're also some threads of various ages here and elsewhere of people making inches of progress only to meet a new problem.
As somebody who's been using linux for years, my honest advice if you want to play PR would be to... obtain a copy of windows7.

Clund from based has been working on PR for a bit.

BF:2 revive has released a MAC/Linux client for BF2 i think as well.

Find me on BASED teamspeak (ts.alwaysbased.com) in public project reality channel or in game with PRSpy by nickname Suff (full name will be SH| Suff). Usually online EU evenings and often weekends.

(with pr spy you can add "Friend" by nickname and see which server is he on)
