Lightbulb Update US uniforms to be more historically accurate

US Army of WWII maps is quite nice but some historical accuracy deatails like the unit insigna on helmets and uniforms would be very cool.

Here some examples:

5th Ranger Battalion for Omaha Beach STD - ALT:

101th Airborne Division for Omaha Beach LRG, Carentan, Brecourt and Fields of Kassel:

Since it's Dog Geen Sector could be the 1st infantry division instead of rangers, also if rangers are cooler IMO

Pointe needs 2nd Ranger Battalion instead of 5th, basically same uniforms but with a 2 on the helmet. Pointe would be a very cool map IMO, with american Breachers throwing hooks to climb the coast. and no vehicles except for the boats

How can i take the PR actual ww2 soldiers and kit skins? that should be very esy since i just have to put a couple symbols in the actual ones.

Maybe in the future when I will be able to make models, I'll try to make some harder details, like the Gas mask pouch for beach landing troops

US Airborne models should have painted faces, Mohawk hair cuts when kit dropped for invasion of Normandy layers, painted faces. Watch old footage of them getting ready.
