Arrow C9 Introduction

CAMPAIGN INTRODUCTION

First of all, welcome to all of our newcomers and welcome back to our veteran players!

Gentlemen, this campaign we've re-thought the campaign layout and made it much, much more simpler and more battle-oriented. We've scrapped the ticket-based system in which both sides had to invest a maximum of 900 tickets (450 per team) in each battle from the alliance ticket pool.

This time you'll all be battling for Victory Points. By winning the battle you gain 3 VPs. If the attacking team fails, the defender receives 2 VPs. However, even if you win the map but your end-score is less then 50 tickets, the defender will receive 1 VP for bleeding you out. The less than 50 rule will not apply to insurgency mode, as there is no way to make up for it in regards to the insurgent team. At the end of ten battles, we will tally the points up and see who wins! We will name an individual team winner, as well as a faction (NATO/CATA) overall champion.

To show how it'll work, here are some examples:

CATA attacks Muttrah City.
CATA wins 150 - 0
CATA gets 3 VPs

CATA attacks Jabal al Burj.
NATO successfully defends 0 - 100
NATO gets 2 VPs

NATO attacks Fools Road.
NATO wins 25 - 0
NATO gets 3 VPs, CATA 1 VP

There will be a total of 10 battle-days played every fortnight since campaign starts. At the begining, each alliance will have the right to attack 1 region (map) from the opposite's pool.
In addition, we're leaving behind our beloved Campaign Map. Unfortunately, we don't have the necessary resources to develop it further. Instead, the list of maps approved by the admins will be distributed amongst NATO / CATA and made public. Supreme Commanders will decide every fortnight which map (region) they are going to attack.

We are really hoping these small changes will make the PRT that much more clean, simple, and accessible. Such additions also ensure that as a team we will have more resources and time to spend on other valuable PRT features, like the Tourney Times.

Stay tuned for further info,
