[Solved] [Win7] PR Mumble Problem
First of all, i'm sry if i'm posting this in a wrong section.
My problem: i've got the latest PR mumble installed, and every1 EXCEPT for the squad leader can hear me! i've asked the squad leaders that i've played with to mute/unmute me, but it's not helping. I'm always starting my pr mumble with the "Run as administrator" option. I'm running Windows 7 x64. Br. Karate. |

Re: PR Mumble Problem
Mumble uses positional audio so you will have to be close to the person that you want to speak to when using "Local Speech" as opposed to "Squad Leader Radio" (which should be bound to different buttons).
The PR mumble server is seperated into channels. You can hear people within the channel whether they are transmitting locally or using SLR. However most of those Team channels also have Squad Leader Channels. The parent team channel is linked to the SL channel so that every player will be able to communicate using "Local Speech". However SLR will only transmit to the people in the exact same channel. You might be using SLR instead of Local Speech while you are not in the SL Channel. If your SL however is insdie the SL channel he cannot hear you then. You will have to use local speech and stand next to him to communicate. Also note that BF2-VOIP and PR Mumble are two seperate programs unmuting in one doesn't mean that you are unmuting in the other. |

Hey SniperCoward thanks for the reply!

My own SL fixed it by muting/unmuting me on mumble and it worked for some reason. I don't know if this is intended but when i speak on mumble the "speaker Icon" turns red instead of green and my fellow squad mates can see it too. -Karate | |

Re: PR Mumble Problem
The speaker icon turning red is an indication that you are transmitting using SLR. It should be green when you are transmitting locally. Please recheck your key bindings and use "local speech" for the most part.
Maybe you have to reinstall PRMumble and manually delete all remaining files - esp. config files. There might be a corruption. redownload from here: Mumble Voice Program in Project Reality - Project Reality Forums |
