promising location indeed, your desert groundtexture is difficult to focus at though due to a caleidoscope effect(dont know if that word is english)

You did a great job making the river look like the satellite photo. Just a thought before you spend too much time on the map: Since the area looks fairly repetitive, this might work better as a 2km map. I'm not sure if BF2 could handle that many overgrowth farms on a 4km. Just a thought... but either way I'm looking forward to see how this develops. If you need any help, start by doing a search on this forum and also bfeditor.org... but also let us know if you get stuck.

and a 2x2km is just 1/4 of the size of a 4x4km and should take about half the time or less
