PRT Campaign 10 - Sitrep #9 (Battle 7 & 8, Survey Results)
Hello PRT Community! The seventh C10 battle is behind us. After three consecutive victories by EMF, PAC made a strong comeback and won Xiangshan 287 - 0. Congratulations! Check out the board for current standings. EMF has the initiative on the next move. With EMF having 4 and PAC having three victories, this has been one of the most balanced campaigns in the history of the Project Reality Tournament so far! We are very glad that the good spirit and sportsmanship has been high all this time. We hope you all had fun in preparing and executing the battle plans. Don't forget to share your experience on (tournament.)realitymod.com and any PR-community website to advertise this tournament! This time it was up to EMF to choose the next move on the board. They choose Burning Sands. You can also see this on the interactive mapboard and see what this means for the future of the campaign. It was aimded at gathering your opinions on how C10 has been going thus far. Before we start showing all of you the information, the PRT Administration would like to thank everyone who took the time to answer the survey. Let's start off with some general information about C10 and it's playerbase:
Moving on to the PRT Community section, the feedback we got was very positive. The overwhelmingly vast majority of you claimed that the PRT Community atmosphere was really good and that there was no drama/problems with members of your squad, team and also that you had a good relationship with the enemy team as well as the admins.
Let's get into PRT Team Feedback.
Overall, feedback on this section was good. Moving on to Squad Feedback. Tournament Rules Feedback was mixed on this part and a portion of you let us know that there are some aspects of PR (exploits/use of game mechanics) that aren't being clarified by our rule set. We always try to improve our rule-set, if you disagree with a rule or you want to see the reasoning behind it, we are always willing to help out. And remember, if you're in doubt if an action is allowed or not, consult the admins before doing it. This is done to avoid us having to do a list of all possible glitches and exploits, which would never be 100% completel and give a backdoor for using those left-out tactics. This is why we choose a general ban and decide on a case-to-case basis (use the Admin Support Tickets for asking what is considered a legit tactic and what is not if you have doubts!) Servers, Forums & TeamSpeak Not much to talk about in this part, your feedback was excellent. Special thanks to BloodyDeed who is hosting the servers, to [PR]EMF|Rage for creating the warmode script and to [T-CON]Ranzpirat and [T-ADM]Blip for their technical support. You also left us plenty of suggestions on how to improve our forums, we will keep those in mind for the future. For now, our hands are tied in using an all-new forum with modern standards as we are bound to the PR Forums System. PRT Admin Team Your feedback was also great. Furthermore, Liam and Nate are doing their best to 'Ged Gud' as it was proposed in the survey countless times. This concludes the short presentation of results. Again, thanks to everyone who took their time and answered the survey, without you this woulnd't have been possible. You can find all graphs of the survey by clicking those two links: We will post a thread in the internal section of the forums for all to discuss the survey results and go into detail with some of your written feedback a bit more! ------------------------- Quick Links PR Tournament Website How-To Sign-Up Tournament FAQ Tournament Rules Battle & Practice Schedule IRC: server: irc.quakenet.org | channel: prtournament (autoconnect) Teamspeak3: server: 188.165.92.2 (autoconnect) Follow us on Facebook & Twitter to get the latest information on the tournament.
