[Solved] PnkBstrB.exe heartbeats stopped

I've been getting this rather irritating problem, and yes, nothing in the Punkbuster problems sticky has helped me in my ucrrent situation, I am open to any thoughts or suggestion you may have to offer to help solve my problem!

There's a possibility that your anti virus is causing the issue. Try running PR with your anti virus disabled and see if you still have the issue.

I've already attempted this, although I haven't tried disabling Windows Defender while I try to play online.

Try this

- Start BF2
- Alt + Tab and go to the directory c:\windows\system32 and delete this file: "PnkBstrB.exe"
- Reboot BF2, Punkbuster will then download a "new" PnkBstrB.exe and the problem goes away.

Thanks mate! Worked, played on a German server and tried to communicate in my broken German
