Default PR:BF2 v1.5.3.0 Changelog

This patch includes some more fixes for the recent v1.5 release as well some other balances and tweaks. We also have some exciting news in the mapping department! Sahel has left the BETA program and is now a fully completed level. We also introduce with v1.5.3 the reworked Iron Ridge featuring the Polish Forces. This map didn't make the v1.5 release but is now ready to be played. Further have we implemented the amazing HD fonts by community modder TBob. Read all the details below.

We would also like to mention that we are aware of a decrease in performance for many users. We don't know at this time the exact reason(s) for this but we are investigating it further. If you want to help with this and other testing, join the testing team!

PR:BF2 v1.5.3.3 Changelog (2018/March/4)

  • Fixed Invalid GameSpyURL error.
  • Fixed small issues with new fonts. Optimized CN/JP and KR fonts.
  • Fixed thermal vision losing it's color.

  • Updated M16A4 M203 UGL Smoke being able to shoot during reload animation.

  • Fixed missing destroy icon for commander commo-rose.
  • Fixed issue causing Polish COOP maps to crash.
  • Fixed shading issues on kit geometries.
  • Fixed being unable to exit ACV on some maps.

KITS:
  • Fixed issues with selecting alternative kits.

WEAPONS:
  • Updated map-placed AA to have same new lock angles as deployable AA.
  • Fixed hearing odd clip sound when throwing grenade in 3P.
  • Fixed PL RPG deploy sound not having the safety off sound.
  • Fixed PL Beryl series recoil being too low and other small issues.

    • Full rework of DOD zones.
    • AAS32: Moved MEC mainbase.
    • Small fixes.

  • Shahadah
    • Removed AAS32.
    • Added insurgency layer (64).

Thanks for the Sahel changes. It's one of my favorite maps for infantry combat, especially the AAS layer, and the new lightmapping looks good, judging by the screenshots. Thanks for continuing to work on the game

Sorry but after I updated the game today my game starts and closes after the intro video - so before I come into the menu... any ideas how to fix this or am I the only one with this problem?

I got no errormessage - after the intro and the "Project Reality" - writing I can hear the first sounds from the menu-music and it loads for few moments but than the game just quits and the usual window opens if you quit the game (quit project reality - clean ressources...) - but I did not! Not even pressed any button etc. ...

NO ^ Check PR:BF2 Support. Works OK for offline.

Why do you constantly ask for testers if you cherry pick and reject applicants anyway based on your personal biases or opinions of them? That's the behaviour of someone who has an abundance of willing participants, not someone who is in need of testers.

Sorry for the salt but i think that conduct is unnecessary, no matter what you think of someone.
