[Vehicle] Unimog U4000 [WIP]
24-1-2010
______________________________ 28-11-2009 ______________________________ 20-11-2009 Exams are finally over, so I've actually had time to work on this. Sorry about the darkness, cbf setting up the shadows now Tri counts at 5262 ______________________________ 31-10-2009 I've been working on this for almost a week now, so i thought I'd post it up. Even though NZDF primarily use the U1700L, I've been modeling the U4000 because we don't have enough references of the U1700. The ones we do have show that they are similar so we will convert the U4000 to a U1700L once it is complete. The U4000 model will also be available to community factions that use the Unimog. Here's the real thing: Polys: 4964, Tris: 9756 |

Awesome work
Tris are a bit high but that can be reduced |

Nice work frenzy. I'm sure that a bunch of other community factions will appreciate this model as much as i do. Keep up the great work, keep me posted

Im not an expert on these trucks so sorry, if this is a stupid question.
Is the U4000 model the same as a Unimog 435 ? they look very similar. |

Looks nice, but to me it looks like it's low on details? I'd give it some more, but then again, I'm not a modeler and textures and bumpmaps can do a lot of good of course.

Re: [Vehicle] Unimog u4000 [WIP]
Yea lol, didn't pay much attention to tris till today. Didn't realise how much they'd gotten away on me
Went through and got rid of useless polys, got the tri count down to 5624. Quote:
Yea I'll get round to removing the symmetry lines when I'm finished up with the rest of the model | |
