Smile [Map] Volcano Village [scrapped]

Hey peeps,

bet you didnt expect a n00b like moi to make a map ... Anyways....

Its called Volcano Village..... because i suck at making up titles and ... there is a village around a volcano Yeah sounds boring

This is my first time ever making a map....it sucks i know but it looks fun with 64 people sneaking around with SAW's

Can someone help me out ? u see those "Boxes" on the terrain, well the only time they turn into actualy texture is when you get REALLY close to them...it looks ugly What to do!?.........Also, how do i set up a COMBAT AREA around the map ???

I like the terrain choice

But hey, my first maps sucked. It took about 8 tries to get something even close to playable.

Rhino posted some very good tutorials on this site quite a while ago.

but every one has to start somewhere hehe. I did that around 2 years ago.

but ye. look on www.bfedior.org and look for some tuts there

i think its... http://www.bfeditor.org/ rhino ill look for some tut's there yeah everyone has to start somewhere, it wont be long before i start producing awsome playable maps (im working on a Streets of London map already, but shh its a seceret)

Im doing it so slowly, because i want every detail to be perfect!!!

by the wat those aisian houses you have put down, you cant use them because as you can see they dont have textures.

staticobjects/asia/village architecture i beleive are the ones you want.

I believe there is that construction you want, you just have to look for it texturized, in the path duckhunt posted. It just has a different name I guess...

by the way, you are using the trees as undergrowth or as static objects?
