Overclocking DX38bt
Has anyone ever heard of or overclocked on this motherboard? Wherever I look they say it's a piece of garbage. I overclocked my Core 2 quad Q9550 from 2.83 to 3.14GHz (by changing host clock frequency not multiplier) but I seem to hit a wall there and can't go any higher even with voltage tweaks. Any ideas?

Re: Overclocking DX38bt
That's already an older motherboard. Seems it requires high quality RAM to pass POST when attempting to OC.
Intel DX38BT Overclocking Here is the manual for your motherboard, around page 71 is the important info for POST beeps: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...pA5GN_WHf1fS1w Here is a overclock guide for it: Intel DX38BT Overclocker Mainboard Review. Page 9 - X-bit labs And finally here is a 100 page thread "Owner's Club for the DX38bt" with ALOT of OC'ing info: ** OFFICIAL ** Intel DX38BT & DX48BT2 BoneTrail Thread |
