Question Video Memory?

Hey all,

i have some problems on the end of a round, it looks like my vRam getting to full and slowing down my FPS.

Im always starting with nice FPS rates, but after some time i take a look at my Vram useage displayed by Rivatuner and it tells me it is useing more than 600mb of it. Well there is still more than 200mb left, but why do i get so bad FPS??

IG settings:

1920x1080 via shortcut
Terrain - Medium
Effects - Medium
Geometry - High
Texture - High
Lighing - Medium
Dy Shadows - Off
Dy Light - Medium
Anti Alaising - 4x
Texture Filtering - High
View - 100%
+Widescreen fixer

Is it normal that PR sucks so much vRam?

System specs:

WinXP Pro x64
M3N-HT Deluxe
Phenom II 940
8GB CL4 RAM
GTX 260 - 896mb
23,6" FullHD Monitor

Yep.

Check out:
Battlefield 2 Tweak Guide

I would suggest turning off Anti Aliasing as your running at a high resolution anyway.
Your Video card may not be able to keep up so reducing the cards work load should improve FPS.

Good luck

No this shouldn't be true, before .86 came out i ran 1920x1200 with 16xaa software controlled and all on high no problems EVER, but now that .86 is out i crash constantly and its not the load level crash its, skipping then sound loop then crash or sound loop then blue screen then crash or even just crash to desktop with no error message. If i had a fix for this I would, Ive done the memory leak fix using C++ before 0.86 does anyone think this is cause some sort of confliction? cause i am no longer able to play PR and its frustrating the SHIT out of me!
