I dont think that DEVs made current system coz "soldier's fear of guys with AK".

psychic aspect of shooting is independent theme for discussion.

Just to compare with the videos posted.
Some shooting at Ramiel range around 15m

1. Walking and shooting.
2. Crouched walking.
3. Prone diving.
4. Pronediving burst.

Seems like pronediving is still a good option (3. BOOM headshoot)
