Yeah the Texture does look a bit wonky, a bit plain, of course i can wait for my retextured SKS =D

It's one of a great many of PR's models that came from random Battlefield 2 mods (in this case Battlefield: Korea) and subsequently got sucked up by PR when their mods died. That said, I believe the texture job is actually PR's. See here -

... That's a far redder texture than we have now.

Anway, I'm sure given time the SKS will be updated - I think Tim270 actually had a new SKS model done up.

On topic, I think the Nagant should be the sniper rifle for the Militia and the Enfield as the medic/sniper rifle for the Taliban.

I hope the SKS stats (accuracy, damage, etc) don't get changed one bit. It's perfect the way it is, IMO. I'd have one with me in PR all the time if it was possible. (put a hidden SKS pickup kit in every map just for me <3). Just the model/texture needs remaking.
